WWW/ Can’t Wait Wednesday #2!

WWW Wednesday

This is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words It asks three questions:

1.      What are you currently reading?

Last Bus To Everland by Sophie Cameron

It’s basically a gay teen Peter Pan. But there’s some financial struggles that I personally relate to- even though I’d never give my cat up for want of money- so it can be a bit saddening at times. It’s really the tale of youths who need an escape from real life.

2.      What did you recently finish reading?

With the Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

This isn’t one that I expected to read until it became convient. It’s about a teen girl juggling cooking, motherhood, the future, and her family. There may even be a trip to Spain and a blossoming romance.

3.      What do you think you’ll read next?

Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

It’s about time that I read it! Everyone seems to have, so brief sum: children find doors that lead to their perfect world, but some had to leave and now stay at a home for wayward children. I love that it’s a short series of novellas; I used to read series like that all the time in middle school but not a lot of YA/adult is told that way.

Can’t Wait Wednesday

Can’t Wait Wednesday/Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Wishful Endings and was previously hosted by Breaking the Spine.   It was created to show off a future release that you are excited for.
