The Comment Challenge is hosted by Lonna @ FLYLēF and Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense. I decided to participate because my perspective of he blogging world is limited. Commenting puts your reaction of a blog into words, and depending on the blog, makes whatever you’ve discovered more memorable.

The Comment Challenge pairs bloggers together for one month to comment on each other’s posts. I’ve agreed to 5+ comments. I reckon I’ll also have to increase my number of posts so that my partner can meet their comment quota. Fortunately I already have a special post planned for Scum’s inauguration.

Happy Holidays everyone!

3 2016 Rush Reads

As the year hope deflated comes to an end, I am burning my eyeballs trying to finish up the books i’m reading. I just finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and A Wind in The Door, and now i’m reading:

hard_choices_hilary_rodham_clinton_memoir_-_cover_art Hard Choices Madam Almost-President’s voice is so distinctive that it’s hard to believe she consults with speechwriters. Also, given her dedication to politics, it’s hard to imagine when she had the time to write a 635 page book.

The Tempest The problem with reading this is that I saw a movie version where Prospero was Prospera, and it’s difficult to wrap my head around the fact that it’s a man. One girl in the original version, surrounded by unattractive men.

The Opposite of Loneliness I checked it out because of a good review but haven’t started reading it because of see above. It’s a postmortem book by someone intelligent, and that’s good enough to be lying on the floor, waiting to be read.

Good news is, I have the rest of 2016 off, so hopefully I’ll finish these. Half empty news is that the free time is accompanied by writer’s drought. Terrible news is Trump is still alive. Do you have a 2016 rush read? Comment below!
